
As with all our beers they are about the history in and around Thames Ditton. Richard “Dickie” Porter was a professional Royal Deer Catcher to Hampton Court Palace and established a butcher’s at No6 in the High Street, Thames Ditton. Between 1860-1921 he also occupied the Old Slaughter House c1580 which is the oldest secular building in Thames Ditton.
